早上好，今天我演讲的题目是：《感恩母亲》。
Good morning. Today my topic is: thank you Mother.
曾经看过这样一个故事：幼儿园里，老师问小朋友们：“妈妈最爱吃什么菜?”一个小朋友大声地答道：“妈妈最爱吃鱼尾!”因为疼爱孩子，母亲害怕孩子吃鱼时被鱼刺卡到，所以自己每次都只吃刺多的鱼尾，久而久之孩子便以为母亲只喜欢吃鱼尾，不爱吃鱼肉。于是每当吃鱼时她都会把鱼尾分给母亲，甚至觉得自己很乖很孝顺。
Once there was such a story: in a kindergarten, the teacher asked the children: "what does your moms like to eat?" A child replied loudly, "Mom loves fish tails!" Because loves the child, the mother is afraid her kid to be stuck by the fish thorn, therefore she only eats the fish tail each time. Over time, the child thinks the mother only likes to eat the fish tail, she does not like to eat the fish meat. So whenever she ate fish, she would give the fish tail to her mother, and even thought she was very good and filial.
直到她长大了，也为人之母了,她也只吃“鱼尾”时才真正明白了：这世界上有一个人，她永远在你心底里最柔软的地方，你愿用一生去敬她爱她;有一种爱，它让你肆意的索取和享用，却从不要你任何的回报。这个人，就是我们的母亲，这种爱，就是伟大的母爱。
Until she grew up, she was also a mother, and she only ate the "fish tail" when she really understood: there is a person in the world, she will always be in your heart’s softest place, you would like to give her a lifetime to honor her and love her; There is a kind of love that allows you to take and enjoy at will, but never asks for anything in return. This person, is our mother, this kind of love, is the great mother love.
每年五月的第二个星期天是母亲节，这个节日，是对母亲的赞美和颂扬，是提醒我们时刻记住：感恩我们的母亲。
The second Sunday in May of each year is Mothers’ Day, a celebration of our mothers, reminding us to remember all the time: be grateful to our mother.
天下的妈妈都是一样的，母爱是平凡的，然而却是伟大的。它无时无刻不在。我们每日三餐的美味佳肴里是妈妈的爱，我们整洁干净的房间里是妈妈的爱，密密的皱纹里是妈妈的爱，耳鬓旁的银丝里还是妈妈的爱。
The mothers are the same, mother’s love is ordinary, but is great. It’s always here and there. Our daily three-meal delicacy is mother’s love, our neat and clean room is mother's love, the dense wrinkles are mother’s love, the silver hair by the sideburns is mother’s love.
如果母亲是一片辽阔的天空，我们就是那自由自在翱翔的小鸟;如果母亲是一个辛勤的园丁，我们就是被水滋润着的小树。母亲的爱是永恒的，她就像是一颗永不落下的星星。
If mother is a vast sky, we are the bird that soars freely; if mother is a hard gardener, we are small trees nourished by water. Mother’s love is eternal, she is like a star that never falls.
同学们，让我们学会感恩吧，别让妈妈总是为你端饭、为你背包、为你撑伞;同学们，多体谅咱们的妈妈吧，以一句问候、一个微笑、一杯热茶来回报父母的“悠悠寸草心”!最后，在母亲节即将来临之际，在这美好的春天里，祝普天下所有的母亲永远健康、平安!
