摘要：A positioning device for an optical device (10) is formed of two substantiallyparallel mounting plates (13) which extend laterally outward from a headband (11) and amounting block (12) affixed to a surface of the optical device. Attached to the headband(11) between the two mounting plates is an adjustable stop, such as a threaded rod (15)and a nut (16) whereby the mounting block pivots into a position resting against theadjustable stop (15, 16). The mounting block is a body having a hole (21) for receiving apivot pin (19) and two spring balls (20) disposed partially within the body at opposingends of a line through the body which is parallel to the hole (21) in the body and locatedbelow the hole. The mounting block is inserted between the mounting plates and thepivot pin is inserted through the proximal slot (17) in the first mounting plate, a hole (21)and the proximal slot (17) in the second mounting plate.
