摘要：A storage management system () is a system for connecting a client terminal ()

to a storage apparatus () via a communication network. The storage management system() includes: a communication unit () that receives a reservation request from the clientterminal (); a reservation management unit () that reserves a right of use and a time slotof use of the remaining capability of the storage capability in the storage apparatus () inaccordance with the reservation request, and manages reservation information indicatingthe result of the reservation; and a ticket issuance unit () that issues a reservation ticketshowing the reservation information to the client terminal (), and transmits thereservation ticket to the client terminal (). The ticket issuance unit () issues thereservation ticket only when the remaining capability is confirmed.
