摘要：Workflow management system (100) and method with personal subflows. Aworkflow system includes a workflow definition including an activity to be performed by apersonal subflow. The personal subflow is defined by personal subflow activities and
branch expressions associated with the subflow activities. A server (110) interprets theworkflow definition and facilitates the scheduling and routing of work items in the system(100). A client (130) receives work items from the server (110) and displays informationtherefrom to a participant. The client (130) also receives data and control commandsfrom the participant. A decision agent co-operates with the server (110) in the schedulingof work items by considering participant-provided data and a branch expressionassociated with a current personal subflow activity.
