摘要：A magnetic head assembly includes a magnetic head and a chip including anamplifier. The magnetic head and chip may be mounted on a multi-chip module substrateand packaged in a mechanical enclosure to form a single module. The chip of the

magnetic head assembly may include a microcontroller with electronic circuitry forprocessing the information from a magnetic stripe and transmitting the information to ahost. The microcontroller may further include electronic circuitry for interfacing with andprocessing information from a smart card. This compact module can electronicallyexchange information contained in a magnetic stripe and/or smart card. A web-baseddepository for storing and business card information and creating electronic businesscards is also disclosed.
