On a hot summer day in the park, I went to sit under a tree. As soon as I sat down, a man dressed in colorful clothes stood and

shouted, “Hello, ladies and gentlemen, please come here!” He started to perform magic tricks. He is what we calls street performer or busker(卖艺人).

There are many different busker performances: magic, music, acrobatics (杂技),dance, comedy, miming(哑剧)…the list goes on.

Once in Barcelona, Spain, I saw a street artist painting a picture of a person as they sat down.

The history of busking goes all the way back to early civilization(文明). And so it’s possible to see a street performer on the streets of any city in the world!

Britain is home to a strong busking culture. And with London being Britain’s most popular tourist city, it has made it the city

for street artist. Many famous singers and actors have ever been street performers. It is possible to go from the streets to the stars.

And yet, while some people may dislike street performers because they are noisy. But they can help to brighten (使快乐)our
