Recently there is a heated debate on whether college students should hire cleaners. As far as I am concerned, the laundry and cleaning should be done by students themselves rather than other people.

As is known to everyone, not only are students supposed to get further educated on campus, but they ought to develop good habits of living independently. Every college student is required to live in school dormitory, partly because it is very convenient for those who live far from school, partly because it is an effective way to help them improve the ability of self-care. Furthermore, college students are not as busy as high school students, they don’t have to attend classes all day long and do much homework. So they surely have enough spare time to do chores like cleaning on their own. Last, college students are all adults, they are old enough to take good care of themselves.

Above all, It is reasonable to say that college students should not hire cleaners to do what they have to do. They need to acquire abundant knowledge as well as good living habits. Only in this way, will college students become strong and excellent enough as they are expected.
