今天在quora上闲逛，看到有个帖子提到了fragmentation，而且还提示有Wikipedia，料定应该是个专有名词了，具体原文如下:
Google is developing an open source OS(PC, mobiles and other) supported on all devices called fuchsia. Fuchsia has its application developed on flutter which is written in dart. Now, there is a possible chance that android will be replaced by fuchsia(may be) because android has a few problem called fragmentation associated with it.
上文提到了android可能会被fushsia替换，主要是由于android市场都碎片化问题。
我有去wiki上看来了，fragmentation 定义如下
Market fragmentation happens when multiple competing firms offer highly-incompatible technologies or technology stacks, likely leading to vendor lock-in.
当多家竞争公司提供高度不兼容的技术或技术堆栈时，就会出现市场割据，这可能导致供应商锁定（Vendor lock-in）。
Vendor lock-in：厂商锁定，客户依赖于单一的云提供商技术，在大量成本、法律约束或技术不兼容性等问题的影响下，在未来无法向其它厂商迁移的状况。
